Monday to Friday, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, during the fall and winter academic terms, students employed through the Campus Walk Program provide a range of services, including:
- accompanying services ('Campus Walk'),
- check-in services ('Campus Alone'),
- patrol services, and
- educational services.
The accompanying service is the primary service provided by Campus Walk. Parties are safely escorted between an origin and a destination within the boundaries of the Nakina Drive campus of Confederation College, using established sidewalks, roadways and lit paths. The service includes escorts between buildings and cars, between cars and buildings, between buildings, and between buildings and bus stops.
Security Campus Walk Service
At all other times, including late nights, weekends and during the summer term, accompanying services are provided by the Security Officer on duty.
Requesting Service
To request Campus Walk service, 24 hours/day:
- call 922 (internal College phones) or
- call 623-0465 (external phones, cell phones, payphones) or
- pick-up a yellow emergency phone.
