The 'Campus Alone' check-in service is provided by the Campus Walk during the fall and winter semesters (Monday to Friday, 7 PM to 11:30 PM), and through Security Services (at all other times, including late nights, weekends and during the summer term).
The goal of the Campus Alone check-in service is to provide follow-up and contact for students, faculty and/or staff who may be studying or working alone outside regular business hours.
To request Campus Alone service:
- call 922 (internal College phones), or
- call 623-0465 (external phones, cell phones, payphones) or
- pick-up a yellow emergency phone.
The Security Officer on duty will request your name, location, phone number, room number, when you plan to be at your location, and when you expect to leave.
The Campus Walk Officer or the Security Officer will visit you, or call you while you are working alone. On departure, arrangements can be made for Campus Walk to accompany you to your vehicle, another building or the bus stop.
