This is the graduating class of the 2011 Hospitality Management Program, here at Confederation College. We the students, with the help of our Chef Professor have put together this cook book as a fundraiser. We have students taking part in this program from all over Ontario as well as an International student from Taiwan.

With your excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and with an interest in the hospitality industry, Hospitality Management may be the ideal career for you! This important career requires active personalities, specific technical and social skills, specialized knowledge and a real drive for success.

You will augment your classroom training with actual, on-the-job experience, providing you with greater insight into the hospitality industry. You will also be encouraged and assisted in finding summer employment in hotels, clubs, and resorts to further your experiences. Beyond your training, you will be ready to seek out careers in hotels, restaurants, seasonal resorts, cruise ships, banquet halls, golf courses and country clubs or develop a career in sales and marketing. You will open many doors by enrolling in this program at Confederation College!

Alumni Viewpoint

As an international student (recipient of a Canadian International Development Agency(CIDA) scholarship), Confederation College was quite a learning experience. Ifound it very interesting meeting people of different ethnic backgrounds and adjusting to new climatic conditions. My favourite teachers were Barney Bree and Carmine Crocco.
