To apply to a fulltime postsecondary program offered by Confederation College, you are required to complete an online application through the Ontario Colleges Application Centre ontariocolleges.ca in Guelph, Ontario.
Apply Online
You can apply online by visiting the Ontario Colleges Application Centre website www.ontariocolleges.ca and follow the step by step application instructions. You can also contact the Customer Contact Centre by calling toll free (within Canada) 1-888-892-2228. Applications received by ontariocolleges.ca by our equal consideration date of February 1, 2012 will be given first admission consideration.

High School Students
If you are applying from an Ontario high school we encourage you to work with your Guidance Office to complete your application. This ensures that your Ontario Education Number (OEN) is provided on any high school transcripts and that your high school transcripts are sent electronically along with your application.
Students with College or University Transcripts
If you have previously attended a college or university, be sure to provide these academic transcripts to us. Please request your Ontario postsecondary transcript online with ontariocolleges.ca or arrange for these to be mailed directly to your college choice(s). The Ontario Colleges Application Centre does not accept hard copy Ontario postsecondary transcripts.
International Students
All Applicants applying to Confederation College who have completed education outside of Canada must have documents/credentials assessed to Canadian educational standards. We would require a complete course-by-course assessment of your High School and Post-secondary transcripts. The Applicant will need to send official copies of their documents to one of the assessment agencies listed below. Please be advised these assessments can take some time to come back.
All Applicants who are Internationally trained and are not a resident of Canada - please contact our International Education Centre at 807-475-6467 or international@confederationc.on.ca for assistance. Applicants may be directed to one of our International Agents depending on their location.
Academic Upgrading Program
For information about the ACE Academic Upgrading Program, or PCD program, please contact the Academic Upgrading Office at (807) 473-3723 or call the Program Coordinator at (807) 475-6537.
Apprenticeship Programs
There are three ways to become an apprentice:
- an applicant can find an employer who is willing to train
- enroll in a pre-apprenticeship program like the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) through their secondary school; or
- contact the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities Apprenticeship Branch
