Assistive Technology

Assistive Technology (AT) is any adaptive or assistive device used to increase independence in individuals with disabilities. AT enhances the method of approaching a task, allowing the individual to accomplish what may have been previously difficult or impossible.

In the Learning Centre, students with documented disabilities have access to AT at our computer workstations. In addition, students may access our lending library of portable devices.
